We (Phil & I) are just returning home from a short vacation to M.ont Tre.mblant Resort, (a ski resort in winter & lots of other activities during the summer), located in the beautiful Lau.rentian mountains of Qu.ebec, Can.ada. Phil was there for a business conference while I got to tag along for a little rest & relaxation. Here is a quick peek at the things we enjoyed while in Canada.
Sunday, Day 172: This is the little pedestrian village where we stayed. It's built into the side of the mountain and has quaint little shops, restaurants & activities to enjoy.
Monday, Day 173: We took a gondola ride to the top of the mountain. On our ride to the top we got to see the many ski slops that are filled during the winter months. This photo was taken at the start of the largest & most difficult slop. It's hard to tell from the picture, but that first step was a dosie - STRAIGHT down!!!
Tuesday, Day 174: Today was spent window shopping in the village. But we just couldn't resist a quick ride down the luge. Wow what a ride!!
Wednesday, Day 175: 3 hours of hanging out in the trees today!! We gave the Acro.branch course a try and LOVED it!! It's a maze of rope bridges, zip lines and tight ropes - but never fear, you are ALWAYS attached to a safety line. We had a BLAST!!!
So now it's back to "the real life" & catch up game as we spend today working around the house. It's amazing to me how the grass & garden NEVER seem to take a vacation. What's up with that? ;-)

wow, that seems so familiar ! Some french friends were there last week and I saw their photos... the same wiew on the Lake (superior, is that right ?)
About acrobranch : Anaëlle was there a few weeks ago and we will go there with all the school (65 preschoolers) on tuesday !!
Vacation begin next friday for us.
