Day 156, Friday: Today's forecast: 100% Rain ALL DAY. And that's just what's it's doing. But unlike the rest of the week where there were passing shower, it's here to stay :-(
This week’s weather has left this family cranky, short tempered & disappointed as birthday parties, baseball games, a field trip to Hersh.ey Pa.rk, end of school parties & a date night ALL have been cancelled!
Tyler was extremely upset today that his field trip to Hersh.ey Pa.rk (for bus safety patrols only) was cancelled. It was a special trip because this group of 20 would be enjoying the amusement park while the rest of the 6th grade class was in school. And both children HAD parties tonight which would have allowed a “date night” for hubby & I, but the those parties were cancelled too. And all the ball games scheduled for this week have been rescheduled to next week, ugh.
So what can a momma do for her family to bring some happiness & joy back into the home?
Take a field trip to the local CHOCOLATE FACTORY & buy some CHOCOLATE! :-D

This is the W.ilber C.hocolate Co. located in my little town. As you walk in, take a deep breath, and listen to the curious sounds of the manufacturing plant located directly above the store. The old- fashioned candy store offers a friendly atmosphere that will stir delightful memories of yesteryear and put a smile on each visitor's face, young and old. You will enjoy a large selection of W.ilbur items, chocolate specialties, and many other confections. You can also watch as we make our own hand-made fudge featuring O.reo cookie, tiger butter, cashew and almond praline, creamy vanilla, rich chocolate, and many others!
Visitors never leave empty-handed! One of the top selling items: Delicious W.ilber B.uds. They are sold by the pound and come in creamy milk chocolate, semi-sweet or mixed. And guess what? They offer FREE SAMPLES OF W.ILBER B.UDS!
Now I can’t show & tell about these delicious, melt-in-your mouth buds without offering any to you. So while I was shopping today I picked up a few extras! YEAH for you!!! I'd like to think that they will put an end to this gray & dreary week. At least for the lucky winners. ;-D

To enter, leave your answer to this question in the comments area and 2 lucky winners will be chosen on Monday!
It’s time to indulge on a sugar splurge. What is your candy of choice?
Have a wonderful weekend & good luck!!

my oh my! i do love chocolate. my candy of choice is usually chocoate of any kind or salt water taffy. i'm still lovin this tour. :D
Mmmmh, dark chocolate (swiss chocolate especially !)Wilbur's chocolate is not so bad too !!
In our car, you often find caramels (hard ones),starlight mints, and licorice... plus somme "Haribo": do you know this brand in the US ?
We planned to have our school party tomorrow in our beautiful school yard.
Unfortunately, it's supposed to be rainy (80%) so we have to do it inside (first time since I teach in this school). I'm disappointed too...
What a fun trip and what a smart Mom to come up with a place to go when the other one was rained out!
I love fudge!
