Sunday: it was a very beautiful sunny day, but defiantly not warm. our Easter outfits included sweaters this year! after enjoying wonderful church service we headed to my parents home for a tasty Easter meal.

Nichole found these rabbit ears in her closet and had a blast wearing them throughout the day. You never knew when she might show up wearing them. :-)

this is my brother and his wife. they are expecting their first baby in September! I'm SOO excited and can't wait to have a baby in our family again! What's that on my brother's head you ask? Why it's Nichole's rabbit ears of course!!! :-)

Tyler was not interested in painting or hunting eggs this year. it's kind of sad to think he is past the age of wanting to hunt eggs, but it's also great to see him becoming a tween who wants to act and be treated "more grown-up". Nichole is still all about coloring and decorating eggs, so she and i painted eggs on Saturday night so pappy and Tyler had something to hide for her on Sunday.

Saturday: my mom's side of the family has been getting together on the Saturday before Easter. we meet at a restaurant that offers a HUGE buffet with way to many food choices! this year everyone (expect my hubby) was there, all my aunts & uncles and cousins & spouses and WOW we have a ton of grandchildren (25 in all)!!

Friday: hubby left at noon today for a once in a life time trip the the M.asters in Au.gusta, Ga. it was a tough decision for him as the Easter weekend is always busy with family events. but i assured him that we would be fine and this kind of opportunity doesn't happen every day - so he better take it! He will be home on Monday and I can't wait to hear all about it! Sorry, I have a photo today but my idea was to take a shot of his suitcase and golf travel bag. But he was in a hurry and I didn't want to slow him down!
