day 71: some of the very first information taught before one is allowed to get behind the wheel is reading & understanding the road signs. i think it's safe to say that road signs are quite important, very much needed & helpful for one to reach a destination safely. sure one could still get to where they are going without ever using them, but whew, what a mess that would be.
so as a driver of almost 20 years, i have become dependant on road signs to get me places.
yesterday while waiting at a traffic light i saw these signs.
i had no questions. i totally understood what was being communicated. it was very clear - the signs were very visible.however when it comes to daily, everyday life - things are not always that clear & visible.
i may travel the "wrong way" only to find the is "no U turns" or a "dead end" which puts me on a "uneven pavement". and how often do i forget to "yield" or mind the "speed limit" in life?
the sign yesterday was my "caution roadwork ahead". just like i must work at following the traffic signs to stay safe, i must also allow God to work & direct me so i can become the person He has created me to be. i just wish His signs were a little more visible at times.
