Day 252:
Our new middle school er! (that's 7th grade ya'll)
Our new 5th grader who no longer has to share a school or bus with her brother.
I guess it doesn't matter how many times my kids "start a new year" of school, this momma is ALWAYS gona get teary eyed!
My tradition is to make a special school theme dessert for our meal tonight and I'm struggling a bit. Any suggestions??

my goodness renee...you have gorgeous children! ahem, and your facebook post...tell that hubby you'll be ♥waiting♥ for him at home around noontime and he'll forget whatever "chores" he thought should be done! hahaha.
okay, dessert...my vote is for a nummy cake of some sorts. something that will last longer than today so they can feast on it tomorrow after school too! and also cookies, and brownies, and...oh well, how about just making desserts for dinner tonight! ☺
i like 'Growin' with it's advice' i always take her advice, just have one huge dessert party! they won't ever forget that. haha. they look very nice for their first day of school! and i am like you, i get teary eyed every year.
